Now Inception is a film I thought I would love. It ticks the boxes - I like DiCaprio, Ellen Page is amazing ( especially in Whip It ), Joseph Gordon- Levitt is one of my favourite young actors ( loved Brick and Mysterious Skin ) and you can't usually go wrong with a Christopher Nolan film ( I really liked the Batman films, Memento and The Prestige ). But, as stylish and polished as it is, and it looks amazing on Blu-ray, I lost interest after about an hour and there was another hour and a half to go!! After they'd gone into their 15th dream within a dream within a dream I drifted off. I neither knew or cared whose dream they were in. As for their 'dreamtown'..... who would wanna stay there???
I certainly wouldn't. Shame.
I'm probably in the minority here, but it would be great to here other peoples views on this film.
Hey dude!!
ReplyDeleteNice post. Keep it up.
INCEPTION rocks btw!! so ner
Do you think Mamma Mia is any good on Blu?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I loved it. Not my fave Nolan film but still great. It was a cut above most action-thrillers.
ReplyDeleteI've only seen Inception once but I really enjoyed it. Although you do have a good point, once we're in the millionth dream and the white suited Bond baddies come along it's a bit tiring.
